A Very Special July 4th Celebration
Our July 4th weekend was highlighted by an incredible milestone: celebrating our friend Ray, who turns 100 on July 20th!

Ray completely redefines what it means to be a centenarian. He and his partner, Patty, live a wonderfully active life—Ray plays golf, Patty gardens, and neither one of them slows down. Just recently, Ray drove forty minutes out to the farm on his own to pick up some dahlia tubers for Patty. No cane, no wheelchair, just a normal day's drive for an incredible man.
With four generations of family traveling from all over the country to join local friends, the room was bursting with love for Ray's warm heart and charming smile.
Cheers to Ray! His positive attitude and open heart are a beautiful reminder of what it looks like to live a long, full, and vibrant life.

Speaking of dahlia tubers and beautiful gardens, things look a little different out in the field right now. If you walked out today, you’d see our dahlias tucked away safely under their summer shade cloth, with the rest of the field in a bit of a "pause mode" to beat the July heat. It’s the quiet before the beautiful storm!
While the field takes a summer breath, we are busy prepping for one of our absolute favorite times of the year. Our Late Summer to Fall Bouquet Subscription Season officially kicks off the week of August 18th!
