$32.00

Add a romantic glow to your spring garden with Ranunculus Tecolote ‘Salmon’, a variety celebrated for its lush, rose-like petals in warm peachy-salmon tones. Each bloom shimmers with soft color variations, making it a favorite for bouquets, weddings, and spring centerpieces.

Tecolote ranunculus are known for their large flowers, strong stems, and long vase life—with blooms that may be single or double, giving each planting a beautiful mix of textures.

Summary Growing Instructions
Planting time: October–December in the Midlands (Zones 7–9); early spring in colder zones.

Soak: 4–6 hours in room-temperature water. Don’t exceed 6 hours to prevent rot.

Plant: 2–3" deep, 4–6" apart, claws facing down.

Soil: Full sun, well-drained beds or containers amended with an all-purpose fertilizer and aged compost (we love Stout Ollie!). Avoid soggy conditions.

Water: Keep moist but not wet; let the surface dry slightly between waterings.

Protect: Use frost cloth or a sheet if temps drop below 32°F. Use hoops, coat hangers or anything you have on hand to keep the cover from touching the plants in freezing weather.

Bloom: Around 90 days after planting — just as the garden wakes up again.
