Bring soft, romantic color to your spring garden with Ranunculus Amandine Pastel Mix, a dreamy blend of blush, peach, lemon, cream, and other delicate pastel shades. With their silky, rose-like petals and subtle tones, these blooms are perfect for weddings, spring arrangements, or simply adding elegance to your home.
Summary Growing Instructions
Planting time: October–December in the Midlands (Zones 7–9); early spring in colder zones.
Soak: 4–6 hours in room-temperature water. Don’t exceed 6 hours to prevent rot.
Plant: 2–3" deep, 4–6" apart, claws facing down.
Soil: Full sun, well-drained beds or containers amended with an all-purpose fertilizer and aged compost (we love Stout Ollie!). Avoid soggy conditions.
Water: Keep moist but not wet; let the surface dry slightly between waterings.
Protect: Use frost cloth or a sheet if temps drop below 32°F. Use hoops, coat hangers or anything you have on hand to keep the cover from touching the plants in freezing weather.
Bloom: Around 90 days after planting — just as the garden wakes up again.
